Invasive kudzu infestation

Symptoms

Fast-growing climbing vine that smothers trees, shrubs, fences and buildings, forming dense mats that block light and kill the plants beneath. Roots swell into large woody tubers, making it very hard to eradicate and allowing rapid regrowth.
